It's always interesting when you see reviews consistently pointing out the same flaw, which here is slow service. I wouldn't say it's ridiculously slow, but we got drinks 5 - 10 minutes apart which was a bit odd. When they arrived, the coffees were well-received. We consumed their entire selection of croissants (butter, chocolate and almond) which were all decent and I particularly liked the mojo pick me up - I am very into lemon and honey hot drinks atm and this had some nice spice additions including star anise.
Overall if I went back to this part of Brighton, I would probably walk the few metres further down the road to the more impressive-sounding Brewed down the road -

Granted, the service can be a bit slow, but once you finally get your order I definitely recommend staying in for a while, soak in the atmosphere, try some of the snacks too while you're there. This seems to be popular among locals and tourists alike, so you know you'll always find a nice diverse bunch here.

Went there in the morning to cure my hangover, as a student I felt it was a bit pricey but I had tasty panini and a really nice frappe, cute and quirky place! The staff were lovely but a little disorganised but it only added to the charm :)
